What Layers does
Honest status: Works today is live in Layers now, Coming is in progress, Not in Layers we do not do.
01
Open the lesson plan as a Layers page or the class record as a spreadsheet, fill it in on a laptop or phone, save as Excel or Word.
02
Class records, attendance and lesson plans of each section in one folder, shared with your co-teacher or department head.
03
End of term, report card day, the parent-teacher conference: each date a task with a reminder.
04
Chat, calls and video meetings with parents and colleagues, also on the phone — without sharing your personal number.
05
Layers does not connect to LIS or other DepEd systems. Save the file and upload it yourself where your school asks.
06
Adviser and school head sign with a one-time code instead of a wet signature.
Type the learners once, then the highest possible score and each learner’s raw scores for written work, performance tasks and the term examination. The template computes the percentage and weighted scores, the initial grade and the transmuted term grade (DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026).

No. DepEd releases its own E-Class Record files. This class record is an independent template that follows DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026 as published; if your school requires the official ECR, use it.
Only until the end of Term 1 of SY 2026–2027. From Term 2, DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2026 applies: any format is fine when the intentions, learning experience, assessment and ways forward are clear and aligned. The weekly lesson log here keeps the DLL layout with the ILAW rows.
Still 75 — but for SY 2026–2027 an initial grade of 70.00 is needed to get it (adjusted transmutation table). The table is in the class record.
Grade 1 uses descriptive grading this school year, so the numerical class record is not for it. Grade 12 keeps the DepEd Order No. 8, s. 2015 weights in SY 2026–2027.
