Questions

How much should I budget for Christmas in Jamaica?

Start from your own list: the calculator multiplies dinner by the people at the table and gifts by the number of children and adults, then adds the ham, cake and sorrel, clothes, Grand Market and travel.

How much should I save each week for Christmas?

The total minus what you already have, divided by the weeks left until Christmas Eve. Starting in late October gives about nine or ten weeks.

Can I use a partner for Christmas?

Yes: many families throw a partner that draws in December. Put the draw you expect in «Already saved», or see the partner plan calculator.

How do I keep Grand Market from blowing the budget?

Put the Grand Market money in an envelope and take only that. The Excel file has a gift list and a dinner shopping list to keep the rest on track.

Is it free? Do I need to sign up?

It is free and you do not need to sign up. With a free account you can save a copy to your Layers and get a reminder on saving day.
