Turn a document or spreadsheet you already use into a public template. People get a useful file they can open and edit in Layers; you get a creator storefront and a share of every attributed customer who starts paying.
You keep ownership of your work. Upload only files you created or have permission to publish.
How it works
1
Start with a .docx document or .xlsx spreadsheet that already solves a real task.
2
Your approved templates appear together on a creator page tied to your creator code.
3
Each template link keeps your code with from=creator-<code> and ref=<code>.
4
If a person attributed to your template starts paying for Layers, your partner cabinet records your 30% share.
The code follows the template, not a private message
Every creator template link carries from=creator-<code> and ref=<code>. The same partner cabinet shows attributed customers and payouts. Events contain codes and counters, not document text or contact details.
What people come back for
Class schedules, lesson planners, grading sheets and parent letters.
Onboarding checklists, shift schedules, final pay sheets and employee letters.
Client checklists, collection trackers, cash-flow sheets and recurring reports.
Client intake forms, content calendars, handoff sheets and status reports.
Use fictional examples, remove personal and client data, and include short instructions inside the file. Layers reviews a template before it appears in the public catalog.
Paid only for a result
The share is calculated from what the attributed customer paid after taxes, refunds and payment processor fees, and continues for as long as that customer keeps paying.
Paid by the 15th for the previous month in USD through Wise or PayPal.
A smaller balance stays in the cabinet and rolls over to the next month.
No self-referral share. Refunds and chargebacks are deducted from the next payout.
