What is monito monita?
The Filipino Christmas gift exchange: everyone draws a name in secret, gives small «something» gifts each week, and the main gift at the Christmas party, where the monito or monita is revealed.
What are good something themes?
Something soft, sweet, hot or spicy, long, round, from the earth, red, useful at work or school, starting with the first letter of the name, something to share. The list is in the Word and Excel files — change any.
How much should the budget be?
The group decides. The examples here use ₱50–₱150 per something and ₱300–₱1,000 for the main gift; the calculator shows the total and the weekly amount.
How do I organize the draw?
Use the draw sheet: name, codename, who drew whom, and a tick when the wish list is posted. Keep it private.
When should the rounds start?
Count back from the party date one week per round. With 4 rounds and a party on December 19, the first is on November 21.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
