Checked on 3 November 2026 on nbi.gov.ph. The NBI Citizen’s Charter page lists other fees (₱115, ₱165, ₱415) and looks older: the amount on the portal when you pay is the one that counts. How long a clearance stays valid is not stated on nbi.gov.ph.
What does not exist
Be careful with these.
- “A HIT means you have a record”: The NBI says it often just means a similar name.
- “You pay again after a HIT”: The NBI says you claim it without paying extra.
- “A first-time job seeker pays like everyone else”: RA 11261 makes it free once, through the First-Time Job Seekers portal and lane.
