Questions

Can I get NSSF midterm at 45 without 10 years of contributions?

NSSF's pages ask for both: age 45 or over and at least 10 years of contributions. Follow what NSSF shows today.

How much will I get?

NSSF says a sum not exceeding 20 percent of your accrued benefits, or 50 percent for a qualifying member with a disability. Check your balance with NSSF. Your own amount is for NSSF to confirm.

Do I need a letter from my bank?

It is one of three ways NSSF names to prove your account: a bank slip, one page of a bank statement, or a letter from the bank. If you already have one of the others, you may not need the letter.

Can I sign the form at home?

No. The paper form says it is to be signed in the presence of an NSSF officer. Fill in the details at home and sign at the branch.

Can NSSF pay to mobile money?

NSSF's page gives mobile money up to UGX 3 million, on an account in your own names. The claim form also has a mobile money section.

Is there a last date to apply?

NSSF's pages do not give one.
