How much recuperation pay do I get in 2026?
Your days by seniority times the value of a day. In the private sector the 2026 value is ₪451.5: in year 5, full-time — 7 days × ₪451.5 = ₪3,160.50 gross.
Do caregivers in Israel get recuperation pay?
Recuperation pay for caregivers is set out in the caregiver's employment contract — check its days and day value there and enter them in the calculator. One example is a caregiver in year 5 who was paid at the old ₪418 rate.
I was paid at ₪418. Am I owed the difference?
The day value was raised to ₪451.5 for the 2026 recuperation year, so anyone paid at ₪418 should get ₪33.5 more per day. Enter what was paid and the calculator shows the difference.
How does part-time work?
By job percentage: half-time in year 12 — 8 days × 50% = 4 days × ₪451.5 = ₪1,806.
Is recuperation pay taxed?
Yes, it is part of your wages: income tax, National Insurance and health tax are deducted on the payslip.
