Questions
Can I go from Teacher I straight to Teacher IV?
Yes, if you meet the Teacher IV standards: Form No. 1-A lists Teacher I, II and III as positions that may be reclassified to Teacher IV. The limit is 3 salary grades and one career stage at a time.
My rating is Outstanding but only for 6 months in my current position. Is it enough?
Division calls (for example SDO Angeles City for FY 2026) ask for an approved rating covering one complete 1-year rating period in your current position. Ask your Division if a shorter period is accepted.
What will my salary be after promotion?
At least Step 1 of the new salary grade under NBC No. 601. Step 1 of the next grade is higher than Step 8 of the grade below, so you never go down.
