BIR Form 1701Q — quarterly return checklist
File every quarter, whatever your income: first quarter by 15 May, second by 15 August, third by 15 November. 15 November 2026 is a Sunday, the BIR calendar keeps that date and we found no move to Monday, so file before it.

Income is cumulative for the year, so keep your earlier returns at hand.
Do not attach financial statements: they are not for the quarterly return.

What does not exist
Be careful with these.
- “No income, no return”: File every quarter, whatever your income. If your only income is under final withholding or exempt, you do not file this form.
- “On 8% you need no books”: On 8% you still keep books and issue invoices.
