Marriage license — what you need and how long it takes

Each of you files a sworn application with the local civil registrar where either of you usually lives. The registrar posts your notice for 10 straight days, and the license comes after that. It is valid 120 days anywhere in the Philippines. Your registrar sets the forms, the fee and any extra papers, so ask for its list first.
