How much does a wedding in Denmark cost?
It depends mostly on the price per guest and the venue: enter your quotes. In the example (fictitious amounts) a wedding with 80 guests costs DKK 192,200, or DKK 15,220 a month from October 2026 to July 2027 after DKK 40,000 already saved.
What does it cost for foreigners to get married in Denmark?
If not both partners have Danish or Nordic citizenship or permanent residence, Familieretshuset checks the marriage conditions and the fee is DKK 2,100 in 2026. Add travel, translations and any agency fees yourself.
What should a wedding budget include?
Dinner, wine and drinks per guest, wedding cake and kransekage, venue, dress, outfit, rings, photographer, band or DJ, flowers, invitations and place cards, ceremony fees, wedding night and transport, and a contingency.
