Electricity, gas and fuel relief — who gets it and how
Short answer. Electricity and gas relief has no application form: the Protected status follows your use. Home users on up to 200 units a month for 6 months in a row are Protected. Only the PM’s Fuel Relief Scheme takes an application, by SMS to 9771. BISP is cash help, not an energy subsidy.

Checked on 1 November 2026. The latest official report on the fuel scheme is from 9 October 2026, and we found no end date. We found no deadline for QR registration. The pmfuelrelief.pk site did not open.
What does not exist
Be careful with these.
- “Apply online for Protected status”: There is no application form: it follows your use.
- “BISP pays your electricity subsidy”: BISP is cash help, not an energy subsidy.
