School transfer certificate — letters and how the application moves

Short answer. Ask your school in writing. Where your board has an online TC process, the application goes first to your current school, then to the new school. The Sylhet Board then sends an SMS to pay the fee through Sonali Sheba within 48 hours. Rules differ by board and class: ask yours.

- “Pay any time”: The Sylhet Board cancels an unpaid application after 48 hours.
