Choose a format
Experienced (page 1), fresher (page 2) or career change / career break (page 3).

Fill the header
Name, target role, city, mobile, email, LinkedIn — and your notice period if you are working.

Write the summary
Two or three lines: role, years, top skills, one result with a number.

Add experience or projects
Three to five bullets per job or project; start each with a verb.

Use the exact skill names from the job description — only those that are true.

What is the difference between a CV and a resume in India?
In Indian hiring the words are used for the same document: a one- or two-page summary of your education, skills and work. Academic CVs are longer.
Which resume format is best for freshers?
Use version B: career objective, education table with marks or CGPA, internships, academic projects and skills. Keep it to one page.
Should I add a photo, date of birth or a declaration?
Add a photo or date of birth only if the employer asks. The short declaration at the end is common in India and is included — delete it if you prefer.
Is the format ATS-friendly?
Yes: one column for the main text, standard headings, no text in images or text boxes, and a simple font.
How do I explain a career break?
Version C has one honest line for it — dates, the reason in a few words and anything you learned or did during that time.
Can I know if the recruiter opened my CV?
