What is the average cost of a wedding in the Czech Republic?

There is no official average — it depends on the meal and venue. In the example (fictional amounts) 70 guests come to CZK 295,900, or CZK 29,488 a month from October 2026 to May 2027 after CZK 60,000 already saved.

Can foreigners get married in the Czech Republic?

Yes; the register office charges CZK 3,000 if only one partner has permanent residence in Czechia and CZK 5,000 if neither does (Act No. 634/2004 Coll., item 12). Ask the register office which documents and translations you need. Check fees at the start of the year.
